London Book Festival-Best Spiritual Book 2012
I just returned from the London Book Festival where
A Breath Away was awarded the Best Spiritual Book of 2012.
This is an amazing honor and I am completely blown away. The awards ceremony was held at the British Library.
There is something about going to a party with other writers. These are people who tell stories and play with words for a living. I met so many clever and funny and interesting people, made some new friends, listened to their stories, came home with an expansive reading list and stack of new books to read.
Thank you for the honor of this award and a glorious time in London.
New England Book Festival
A Breath Away
has received an Honorable Mention for Spirituality award at The New England Book Festival 2013.
The Omni Parker was built in 1855 and was a frequent haunt of literary legends such as Emerson, Thoreau, Hawthorne and Longfellow. Needless to say I am thrilled to be honored by the Festival and heading to Boston for Martin Luther King Weekend. I’ll be signing books from 11 AM to 4 PM and then off to the awards ceremony.
